This awesome Thai Basil Chicken recipe is the easiest recipe ever and requires very little ingredients! Send your taste buds to heaven in just 5 minutes.

INGREDIENTS

  • 200g boneless chicken minced (or finely chopped)
  • 1 bunch Thai basil leaves (and flowers if any)
  • 2 medium chilies finely chopped
  • 6 garlic cloves crushed
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 egg

INSTRUCTIONS

Heat up the oil in your wok on high fire. Once the oil is hot, add the chilies and garlic and stir until light brown.

Add the chicken and cook until brown, removing any excess fluid.

Reduce to a low fire and add the oyster sauce and mix thoroughly.

Add the Thai basil and stir, allowing to cook for no more than 10-15 seconds.

Serve piping hot with a fried egg on top! Why not make some fresh Thai basil tea while you are at it!
